Author’s Guidelines
Focus and Scope:
Thespian Magazine invites research articles for the ‘Article’ section that engages with the interdisciplinary study of humanities. Besides the ‘Article’ section, we welcome innovative pieces like ‘Creative Writing’ (Poetry/Essay/Short Story/Travelogue, etc.) and ‘Review’ (Book/Film/Theatre and Other Performing Arts/Exhibition, etc.). We also welcome translations in English or Bengali from any other language for the ‘Translation’ section.
We accept submissions in both English and Bengali for all the sections mentioned above.
Principles of Submission:
Manuscripts submitted to THESPIAN MAGAZINE should meet the highest standards of publication ethics:
1. Manuscripts that have not been submitted or published elsewhere, even in part, should only be accepted; the published articles in other languages translated into English or Bengali have previously been presented at conferences.
2. Manuscripts must be original and not reuse text from another source without appropriate citation. THESPIAN MAGAZINE has a zero-tolerance plagiarism policy (including self-plagiarism). We check the issue using a plagiarism prevention tool.
3. Copyrights for articles/writings are retained by the authors, with first publication rights granted to the journal. Authors can reuse, republish, archive, and distribute their articles/writings after publication.
