    Nivedita Karmakar

    Nivedita karmakar is an M.phil scholar in the Department of English in Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan. She completed her graduation in English Literature in 2016 from St. Xavier’s  College, Kolkata, and got her Post-graduation degree from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 2018. She has taught the course of Compulsory English to the First-Years for one semester in 2019.  Her research interests focus on comics, Manga and graphic novels, graphic novel adaptations of various literary classics, with specific emphasis on the graphic novel adaptations of Shakespearean plays.
