Fahim Maleque

He is a theater activist of Bangladesh. He is a theater director, actor and researcher. He is a member of Desh Natak (A Group Theatre of Bangladesh). From 2000 till today he is an efficient member of this group. He has acted in many plays in various roles. He directed a play called `Parapar’ in 2022 which was appreciated by the audience. He has worked as a director in various theater Production and Workshop of Bangladesh Shilpakola Academy.

 

Professionally he is a teacher. He is an Assistant Professor, Department of Drama and Dramatics, Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He joined this university as a lecturer in 2017. He has done his graduation and post graduation from Jahangirnagar University Department of Drama and Dramatics. He specializes in acting and is interested in the history of Theatre. He has done a lot of work on theater history of Bangladesh. He has published extensively in reputably journal of Jahangirnagar University. One of the remarkable research is `Theater practice in Bangladesh during the War of Liberation’.
