He is an Assistant Professor in English, presently working at Government General Degree College Gopiballavpur II, Jhargram. He has interest in translation work from both Bengali to English and English to Bengali. Other areas of his interests are  Performance Studies, performance in theatre, and discussion on academic discourses.
