Shahadat Rumon

Shahadat was born in Mymensing (in the east part of Bangladesh) on 13 November. He passed his Higher Secondary Certificate examination from Tarakanda Bangabondhu Degree College 2004. Then he attended Jahangirnagar University and graduated with Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Dramatics in 2008 and later obtained his Master of Arts degree in 2009. In 2015, he achieved M.Phil degree from the same department for his research titled “Labors and their Culture in Selim Al Deen’s Drama”. Now he is doing his research in Ph.D level at the same department on “Deconstruction of Traditional Bangla Drama: In the quest of originalities of Rabindranath Tagore and Selim Al Deen”. Recently, he is a freelance writer and critic in the field of drama, theatre and film. In 2011, Bhashachita Prokashoni, Dhaka published his story book named ‘Jothjoggo Nissongota’.
